Child Safeguarding Policy Webinars - Officials, Committee Members, Board Members and Members
The Australian Government's Sports Agency, Sport Integrity Australia, has developed the National Integrity Framework which takes a proactive approach to mitigate integrity threats to sports and provide a safe, fair and healthy environment for participants at all levels of sport.
Among the new policies is SIA's Child Safeguarding policy which sets out child safety practices and outlines what constitutues prohibited conduct in relation to interacting with children in sport.
Attendance is required for Biathlon Australia Officials, Committee Members, Board members. Members are also encouraged to attend.
