COME AND TRY BIATHLON   

Come and Try Biathlon sessions are being held for interested participants to learn more about biathlon and develop biathlon skills.

When: Sessions are being held on 31st July 2024.

Where: The Moth - Hotham Biathlon Arena.  

Cost: Athletes who are new to Biathlon may purchase a free "Target Pass" Membership, and participate in thier first two sessions free of charge. Athletes who wish to participate in more than two days, will need to then join Biathlon Australia, and purchase sessions to attend. 

Time:  10am to 12pm

Who Should Attend?  Come and Try is for anyone who wants to try biathlon, has tried biathlon a little and wants to try some more, it is for all ages and levels of getting started.  Attendees should be able to XC ski at an Interschools beginner level.  

Equipment Required:  Skate XC skis and poles will be required, gloves, sunglasses, ski beanie/headband. Athletes are encouraged to wear layers of clothing which can be removed as warming up commences. Laser biathlon equipment will be provided 

Drinks and Snacks: Athletes should have plenty of drinks and snacks with them for during the sessions. 

Membership:  A free "Target Pass" Membership of Australian Biathlon is required to attend the Come and Try sessions ro ensure insurance coverage is activated.
