The teams have been recommended to the Board by the Selection Committee and are based on the Selection Criteria as set out on the Biathlon Australia website.
The Selection Criteria has not changed since 2023, when it was also recommended to the Board for approval by the then Selection Committee. (The logos have been updated and reference to any specific year has been removed).

In readiness for an impending unification with Snow Australia, as announced on 13 July 2023, the Biathlon Australia Selection Criteria has been modelled on the Snow Australia selection criteria template for selections. Further details on the Board's announcement for unifying with Snow Australia can be found here.
Following EOIs been sent to team members, further details on camps, competitions and coaches will be made shortly.
