Australian Masters Biathletes on the International Circuit
The Biathlon International Masters Championships have been held every year since 1997. The Championships attract a large number of participants from many countries and Australian biathletes are keen attendees at this event. In 2022, and despite COVID19 still lingering, Australian will have two Masters attending – Bob Cranage and Lynne-Maree Cullen.
What are the Masters International Championships?
The Championships are a series of competitions for biathletes over the age of 35 years that have taken place since 1997, although they were cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19. They are usually held in Kontiolahti, Finland and for 2022 will be held from 14th March to 20th March.
Australian Masters biathletes are regular competitors at this event¸ in 2019 we had eight biathletes compete, including:

- Toscha STOPAR
- Robyn ENGLERT
Our 2022 competitors are Bob Cranage OAM and Lynn-Maree Cullen – our dynamic father and daughter combination who have been involved in biathlon for as long as biathlon has been in Australia!
