Boris Stanish skied and shot with great success to finish just off the podium on both days of the ITA Cup event held at Forni Avoltri on the weekend of 8 and 9^th Jan 2022.

Skiing in the Youth Men I age category (U17), Boris finished 5^th in the Sprint, 1min 13secs behind the winner and was able to move up 1 position in the 7.5km Pursuit (5x1.5km) to 4^th place. It was a tremendous effort by Boris to finish just off the podium on both days. 

The event was also doubling as selection trails for the ITA Team to attend Youth Junior World Championships (YJWCH). 

Also starting at the event was Sebastian Packer-Smith who finished 9mins 44 secs behind in the Day 1 Sprint, therefore starting at the 5min wave in his Pursuit. This was the first-time racing for Sebastian in Europe and carrying a rifle on his back.
