Great IBU Racing for Darcie and Jillian

Published Fri 17 Dec 2021

Darcie Morton had a welcome return to racing at IBU Cup No 3 at Obertilliach (AUT) after experiencing ill-health in her opening races of the IBU session.  Competing in the 15km Women’s Individual, Darcie focussed on accurate shooting which is of utmost importance in the Individual Racing format.

Jillian Colebourn had been experiencing some good success in the season opening IBU Cups in SWE and NOR and consolidating her points for Trimester 2. Overnight, she competed in World Cup No 3 at Annecy (FRA) where she found the going a little tougher at the World Cup level. The event was held in front of a huge crowd at the first World Cup event in France since the start of the COVID19 pandemic.
