Important Update: National Integrity Framework Implementation
Dear Members,
We are pleased to announce that the Biathlon Australia Board has officially approved the implementation of the National Integrity Framework (NIF) and a new Code of Conduct. This vital step reflects our commitment to upholding the integrity of our sport and ensuring the health and wellbeing of all members.
What is the National Integrity Framework?
The NIF has been developed by Sport Integrity Australia in collaboration with key stakeholders in the sports industry, state government departments, and the National Office for Child Safety.
It is a comprehensive suite of policies, which aims to establish a high standard of expected behaviours for everyone involved in biathlon. The NIF sets out best practice standards for protecting our sport against integrity issues.
Our Commitment to Integrity
As members, you play a crucial role in protecting the integrity of biathlon. We encourage you to familiarise yourself with the NIF suite of policies and the Code of Conduct, to better understand your obligations.
The policies as outlined below can be found on the Biathlon Australia Website HERE.
