And we're finished! What a whirlwind of an experience and an incredible opportunity! As some of our Biathlon AUS community may know, Damon Morton and myself have been completing the IBU Academy Pilot Level 1 Course.

I can say with the utmost certainty that it has over-delivered and exceeded all expectations. With internationally recognised experts within the biathlon field - both academics and highly-experienced coaches currently working with the top World Cup Teams - we have had an immense amount of knowledge shared with us that we are so excited to bring back to the Australian biathlon community.

Some may recognise the likes of Wolfgang Pichler (Former Head Coach of SWE, RUS, GER), Jonas Johannson (Head WC Coach SWE), Kunt Brevik (Head of Development NOR), and Mattias Aherns (Head Coach CAN) - these are just a few names who have worked with our team as we progressed through this education course.

We are currently working with Biathlon Australia to determine the most effective strategy to share all this knowledge with our wider community; stay tuned and keep your eyes peeled, it's bound to be an impactful opportunity for anyone interested or involved in biathlon!
