Dear Biathlon Family Australia,

 Last Sunday’s Super Sprint and National Para Biathlon Championships were held on a course groomed the night before which included a single classic track (for sit ski). Chief of Competition was Paul Connor.

 The National Para Biathlon Championships and Super Sprint were conducted on the same course and at the same time and consisted of:

·    a four kilometre (4km) cross country skiing course,

·    with 2 shooting bouts, and

·    75m penalty loops.

 The overall 4km Super Sprint was won by:

·    1^st Fabian Suchodolski of Poland (ranked 14^th in IBU Junior Cup, 203.6 IBU Q points)

·    2^nd Boris Stanish (216 IBU Q points)

·    3^rd Darcie Morton (World Cup debut 2021, 21 World Cup starts)

 The National Para Biathlon VI champion was:

·    Taryn Dickens (3,4) with Daniel van der Ploeg as guide

 The National Para Biathlon sit ski champion was:

·    Matthew Brumby (2,4)

 Kasper Wirz, IBU International Referee #564, attended the event as Para Team Coach to support our para biathletes and ensure the para biathlon air rifle targets and electronic targets complied with para biathlon rules for both Taryn (VI) and Matt (Sit Ski).
